The Fan Relations Department offers hands on experience in ticket sales and customer relations. Applicants must be comfortable interacting with customers and visitors to Texas Motor Speedway. Applicants are expected to become part of the team fulfilling orders, providing customer service and problem solving; and must be flexible and willing to work with other departments.

This department sells tickets daily for all Texas Motor Speedway, Dirt Track events. Applicants will assist in mass mailings and help maintain a master database of fans by updating information as needed. Applicants need to be flexible and willing to work long hours and weekends as needed.

Aside from working daily with our customers on the phone, applicants will be expected to assist other ticketing departments (Sales and Retention, Ticket Sales, and Credentials) with multiple events held on and off the track. Applicants are expected to work all the race events held during the year.

Texas Motor Speedway, the leader in motorsports-based entertainment, is seeking a paid Graphic Design intern to join the Marketing Department to assist with all things graphic design including web, social, email, mobile and print. The ability to move quickly and accurately to meet deadlines is extremely important.


  • Assist in production of creative deliverables for a wide range of channels including web, social, email, mobile and print.
  • Pre-press work on all print materials; attention to detail is imperative.
  • Must be able to work both individually and in a team environment when given project goals and creative guidelines.

Marketing Intern - Texas Motor Speedway (Fort Worth, TX)

As the Marketing Intern with the Marketing Department at Texas Motor Speedway, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in a creative business environment including implementing ideas that extend the motorsports brand through web-based marketing, social media and promotions.  

The internship allows students to network with people within the motorsports industry and local community while working at one of the premier racing facilities in the United States. By the end of this internship, you will have a better understanding of the process and preparation that goes into planning and working at a race facility.

The voluntary internship will last, at minimum, the length of a semester, and all interns will experience multiple events including a major race weekend. The schedule is flexible and allows the student ample time to attend classes. However, the student will be required to attend certain events. While obtaining course credit for this internship by their college is not required, it is preferred.


  • College level student majoring in communications, sport management, public relations, advertising, marketing, or related field
  • Attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Actively engaged as a social media user with profiles established on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and other social media sites

Ticket Sales Account Executive - Texas Motor Speedway (Fort Worth, TX)

Texas Motor Speedway is evolving and looking for highly motivated and passionate individuals to join their sales team. TMS is looking for candidates that have a passion for the sports industry, a solid foundation of sales training, and ability to initiate phone calls, emails, face to face appointments, and create new innovative programs to increase attendance and drive revenue.

The Account Executive job is a full time position with benefits.

Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Responsible for the sales of new Full Season, Partial Season and Group Outing ticket packages, as well as PSLs, Victory Lane Club, and Speedway Club packages to both the business and consumer sectors
  • Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly and annual sales
  • Maintain business relationships with a pre-determined book of business for on-going renewal and upsell opportunities
  • Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture and personal database management
  • Generate a pre-determined minimum number of outgoing phone calls per day with the purpose of creating new business opportunities
  • Generate a pre-determined minimum number of weekly out of office as well as in venue “face-to-face” meetings to create new business opportunities
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to all ticket buyers, regardless of level of purchase
  • Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
  • Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members
  • Participate and contribute to daily or weekly sales team meetings and training sessions

Include strong organizational, time-management, excellent oral and written communication, customer service and problem solving skills.
