The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is seeking highly-motivated and dedicated professionals to join our 24 hour security department. The primary responsibility of this position is to keep our guests and property safe and secure during our normal operating season April 1- October 31.

Job Responsibilities:
• Help keep NHMS guests and property safe and secure

• Reporting Fire / Police /EMS emergencies to 911 and assisting to the level trained for.

• Responds to requests for help

Facility Operations/Event Staff: Race Official
Assistant Chief Referee Loudon Road Race Series (Event Position) - New Hampshire Motor Speedway (Loudon, NH)

Summary:
The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is seeking a highly-motivated and dedicated professional to join our Loudon Road Racing Series Officiating Team. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with the operation and competition management of the Loudon Road Racing Series events conducted at NHMS. This position is an Event Staff position during approximately seven racing event weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Enforce the rulebook of LRRS

·        Assist in management of technical / mechanical inspections

·        Perform safety equipment inspections

·        Assist in officiating of race duties

·        Perform General Office Tasks

·        Assist in track maintenance and repairs.

·        Act as liaison between NHMS & competitors, crews, & guests

·        Other tasks as assigned

Hours: Hours can be flexible based on course schedules. Additional hours on event weekends will be required.

Duration: May 2015 – August 2015 (Dates flexible based on course schedules).

 

Summary: New Hampshire Motor Speedway is looking for a highly-motivated Graphics Intern that is prepared to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The focus of the internship will be to assist the Graphics Specialist in all daily graphics operations and productions.

Job Responsibilities

-      Assist the Graphics Specialist with daily content production

-      Assist in the creation of various promotional pieces, including any or all of the following: ads, logos, banners, email blasts, branded promotional items, web site and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials as needed

-      Follow creative direction from clients and NHMS sales staff to translate their messaging concepts into marketing materials

-      Assist in the creation for dynamic data elements, including Cap, Pylon, and Front Sign video scoreboards

-      Work with production team to ensure seamless operation of Pylon and Cap scoreboards during event weekends

-      Assist in creation of graphics database accessible to employees of NHMS.

-      Other duties as assigned

Skill and Attributes

-      Must have sufficient experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs (including Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, etc.)

-      Some basic knowledge of Animation or Final Cut Pro video editing software would be desired, but is not a requirement

-      Fast learner with a strong desire to learn more

-      Extremely organized

-      Detail-oriented

-      Deadline responsive

-      Have basic knowledge of NASCAR and racing in general

Requirements:

-      This is a credit-based program and an unpaid internship.  College credit must be received.

Hours: 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Tuesday through Friday*

Supervisor: Tom Blanchette; Director of Operations; NHMS

Duration:  April 1, – October 31, 2015; adjustable based upon course scheduling.

Duties:

-          Research new event ideas, vendors, and entertainment.

-          Assist in the execution of all events, including LRRS, track rental, and NASCAR race weekends.

-          Assist in day to day activities for operations of LRRS.

-          Assist in managing Granite State Legend Car shop.

-          Assist in marketing and promotion of Granite State Legend Cars.

-          Assist in distributing credentials during major event weekends.

-          Ability to work independently and in a group setting.

-          Provide exceptional customer and fan service.

-          Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must be receiving course credit, this is an unpaid internship

Must be available to work weekends

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Must have sufficient experience with Microsoft Office

Must have ability to use basic power tools

Must have general knowledge of basic construction techniques
