Summary:
The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is seeking highly-motivated and dedicated professionals to join our 24 hour security department. The primary responsibility of this position is to keep our guests and property safe and secure during our normal operating season April 1- October 31.

Job Responsibilities:
• Help keep NHMS guests and property safe and secure
• Reporting Fire / Police /EMS emergencies to 911 and assisting to the level trained for.
• Responds to requests for help
• Enforce speedway policies and procedures
• Other tasks as assigned

Summary:

The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is seeking highly – motivated and dedicated professionals to join our corner marshal team. The primary responsibility of this position is to keep our competitors safe who race on our road course.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate clearly on a two way radio

  • Report track conditions, emergency situations, and information relative to competition

  • Display flags in a manner in which they will be clearly identified by competitors

  • Extinguish small fires utilizing handheld fire extinguishers

  • Assist Trained Emergency Medical providers during emergencies

  • Assist with track clean up and restoration

New Hampshire Motor Speedway—Events Specialist As an Event Specialist, you will be responsible for with planning, organizing and executing major events at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The Event Specialists work with all teams at NHMS in all seasons. Monster Energy Cup Series weekends are one of the most engaging sports experiences in the United States. The Events specialist is part of the team that ensures the creation of memorable events, with a goal to make everyone smile. The events specialist may be called on to help in many different areas and could possibly be asked to assist with events at any of our SMI facilities Responsibilities: • Coordinate and attend meetings related to event • Must Foster relationships with events, venues, and municipal officials for assigned markets. • Negotiate and contract all elements required for successful event activation • Coordinate and deliver employee functions as needed • Gather and organize all logistical information for team members to aid them in executing successful, streamlined events • Provide feedback internally and externally recapping events for future improvement • Take detailed notes and develop action plans for all functions. • Resolve issues confidently and quickly with assistance from appropriate department or management as needed. • Prepare and manage the event within budget and a strong understanding of P & L. • Supports management with budget preparation and tracking of operational expenditures associated with market events • Prepare and track purchase orders. • Collaborates with other departments to ensure program and offer effectiveness and to identify areas of opportunity for branding, customer and revenue growth • Works with PR and Marketing to ensure effective communications for employee meetings or other internal and external events in the local market • Research and procure permits as required for successful event execution • Maintain email lists for internal and external communications • Provide informational support in social media, press and internal communication • Be able to research other new event trends and bring new and exciting engaging activities to our guests • Provide superior customer service, in person and over the telephone • Be able to present to a large group comfortably Requirements: • Educational focus or 2 years’ experience in event planning. • Experience putting together large events is ideal • Ability to identify our guests needs and create engaging experiences. • Must have experience in Microsoft Office Suite • Must work well in an unstructured, fast paced environment • Must work well in a dynamic and task-changing environment • Must be a self-starter • Must be detailed and have strong organizational skills • Must work well in a team environment, both as a member and leader • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must be extremely organized • Must be a creative and innovative thinker • Maintain a professional personal appearance • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance • Performs other duties and special projects as required • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs • Work will require weekends and nights as events dictate
