Summary:
New Hampshire Motor Speedway is seeking highly-motivated and dedicated professionals to join our Event Security department. The primary responsibility of this position is to keep our guests and property safe and secure during our NASCAR and other events that occur during the summer months.

Job Responsibilities:
• Help keep NHMS guests and property safe and secure
• Reporting emergencies to track EMS employees
• Responds to requests for help
• Enforce speedway policies and procedures
• Other various tasks as assigned

There is no relocation compensation for this position.
This is NOT a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Research new event ideas, vendors, and entertainment.
• Assist in the execution of all events, including employee, corporate, LRRS, and NASCAR race weekends.
• Assist in sending invitations, reservations and in the execution of the end of year awards dinner for LRRS.
• Assist with distribution of Crew Meal Cards for entire NHMS staff.
• Work with Events Specialist on execution of FanFest events.
• Act as on site contact for pre race and entertainment.
• Assist in on-site hospitality for LRRS, Track Rental, Vintage Racing Celebrations, Fantasy Drive.
• Ability to work independently and in a group setting.
• Provide exceptional customer and fan service.
• Attend and assist with Rope drops for Camper Welcomes
• Other duties as assigned

Experience and Requirements:

• Must be receiving course credit, this is an unpaid internship
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Must have sufficient experience with Microsoft Office
• Reports to Event Specialist

Hours and Duration

• 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Tuesday through Friday*
• *Additional hours on event weekends will be required, schedule must be flexible
• 2013 openings: Jan. 9-May 31, April 1-Oct. 1; June 1-Dec 14 (adjustable based upon course scheduling)

 Duties:
- Research new event ideas, vendors, and entertainment.
- Assist in the execution of all events, including LRRS, track rental, and NASCAR race weekends.
- Assist in day to day activities for operations of LRRS.
- Assist in managing Granite State Legend Car shop.
- Participate and help identify trade shows for Granite State Legend to attend.
- Assist in distributing credentials during major event weekends.
- Ability to work independently and in a group setting.
- Provide exceptional customer and fan service.
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Must be receiving course credit, this is an unpaid internship
Must be available to work weekends
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must have sufficient experience with Microsoft Office
Must have ability to use basic power tools

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is expending their Seasonal Ticket Sales Department and looking for highly motivated and passionate individuals. Flexible hours for the right candidate.

The Seasonal Ticket Sales Representative will be responsible to:
• Make outgoing calls to customers and prospects relating to various ticket marketing initiatives such as selling season ticket packages
• Cultivate new business and service existing clients
• Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales and productivity goals
• Update and maintain information in the Archtics database
• Assist in the collection process
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Perform other duties as assigned and occasionally work non-traditional hours.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
• Strong telephone and communication skills
• A willingness to engage in a high volume of telemarketing sales efforts
• Experience in customer sales and service
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• A friendly, professional and confident demeanor
• The ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information
• Experience with Archtics ticketing system a plus
