Account Executive - Ticket Sales - Atlanta Motor Speedway (Hampton, GA)

The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new revenue through the sale of tickets, camping, and event upgrades to individual consumers and groups, while managing existing accounts.  This position will enhance the fan experience by building relationships with fans and providing excellent customer service.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Effectively promote and sell tickets, camping, and upgrades for NASCAR weekends and other events to renewal customers new accounts.
  • Generate sales through outbound calls, emails, appointments and other communication methods.
  • Develop leads and referrals through networking, cold calling, prospecting and other techniques.
  • Participate in events, promotions, client entertainment and other activities as required.
  • Train and supervise part time ticket office sales staff.
  • Assist with all ticket office responsibilities during NASCAR week and other events.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude at all times while representing Atlanta Motor Speedway.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Ticketing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Minimum of one year of successful sales experience, preferably in sports/entertainment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a pleasant speaking voice as well as in writing
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft programs - Excel, Work, Outlook, etc
  • Prior experience with a CRM program a plus
  • Knowledge of and interest in NASCAR and/or motorsports a plus

Sales & Marketing: Premium/Suite Sales
Business Development Executive - Atlanta Motor Speedway (Hampton, GA)

Overview: 

We are looking for the right, passionate individual to join our team and develop/sell premium inventory for Atlanta Motor Speedway - one of the oldest and most iconic NASCAR tracks on the circuit.

Summary:

Primarily responsible for selling premium inventory including but not limited to, annual suites, multi-year suites, large corporate block ticket sales, hospitality chalet’s, motorhome hospitality and track rentals/corporate events.  You will be provided with a pool car for traveling to appointments, cell phone and lap top.  Some travel to other NASCAR races will be required.  

Major Responsibilities:

  • This position will be focused on prospecting, appointment setting, executing sales presentations, and closing sales.
  • Set and conduct out of office sales appointments throughout the Georgia area.
  • Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including but not limited to: networking events, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners / lunches and outside meetings.
  • Due to the nature of this project, the candidate must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends and event days.
  • The candidate will be accountable for certain levels of activity (calls and appointments), appointment goals, and closed sales goals.
  • Candidate should possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as the competitive desire to be the best.
  • Candidate should possess both the personal and professional communication skills to conduct face to face presentations.
  • Must be organized and know how to prospect well. 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of prior sports sales/industry or equivalent sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with C-Level clients
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Previous working experience with SalesForce and Archtics is a plus
  • Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in professional sports
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge and passion for the sport of NASCAR

Ticket Sales Representative - Atlanta Motor Speedway (Hampton, GA)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sale of tickets with three main focus areas: renewal customers, new business, and group sales.
  • Make calls to past customers, cold call new leads from database generation and business leads, and handle incoming calls.
  • Provide a high level of customer service in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the renewal and maintenance of all accounts.
  • Maintain accurate sales data to relay to management team.
  • Receive payments for tickets, process orders, and mail tickets/camping/credentials.
  • Assist will all box office responsibilities during race week and other events.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Ticketing

Qualification:

  • Experience in sales and outbound calling is preferred
  • Self starter, career oriented professional
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a pleasant speaking voice as well as in writing
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft products - Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Knowledge of and interest in NASCAR and/or motorsports industry a plus
