Ticket Manager - Atlanta Motor Speedway (Hampton, GA)
The Atlanta Motor Speedway is looking for an ambitious and customer service oriented Ticket Manager. This position oversees the overall sales strategy for the ticket office, and reports directly to the Director of Ticketing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and execute ticket sales strategic plan
Train and mentor staff on sales program, customer service, and daily operations of the ticket office
Establish and monitor individual and team sales goals, including tracking and reporting
Work with marketing and sales departments to create partnership opportunities
Work with current and prospective customers to build relationships and promote sales growth
Create renewal incentives and maximize benefits of AMS’s loyalty program, the Insider’s Club
Develop new sales leads and magnify AMS promotion by working events and festivals
Maximize usage by staff of CRM system (Sporting Innovations Dimension)
Provide excellent customers service, both externally and internally, including ticketing, camping sales and other opportunities
Reconcile daily sales and prepare deposits
Prepare ticket sales reports for track management in relation to ticket sales and trends
Maintain necessary documentation as needed for auditing purposes
Oversee the gate sales staff on NASCAR weekend and for smaller events
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or related field
Minimum of three years of successful ticket sales experience
Advanced knowledge of archtics (Ticketmaster) and all related products
Strong ability to successfully manage and motivate ticket staff, develop and execute sales plans
Ability to contribute promotional ideas as related to ticket sales
Proficiency in basic computer software programs and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Marketing & Promotion Street Team - Atlanta Motor Speedway (Hampton, GA)
Job Description Atlanta Motor Speedway is seeking qualified candidates to join the marketing and promotion Street Team. The individuals will represent Atlanta Motor Speedway in a promotional role at off-site events and marketing opportunities. Street Team members should be knowledgeable about events happening at Atlanta Motor Speedway and be able to support and promote the events via grass-roots marketing, one-on-one interaction with the public and active word-of-mouth and social media dialogue. The ideal candidate is very outgoing, enthusiastic, personable, the life of the party and can create a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Current Opening Ongoing: Cover letter and resumes will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Candidates will focus on events supporting and leading up to the 2016 Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 NASCAR weekend and the 2016 Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama. Interviews will be conducted on an individual basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a marketing and promotional representative of Atlanta Motor Speedway at various festivals, shows and public events in an effort to grow the AMS fan base and create incremental dialogue
Create general brand awareness by effectively and efficiently executing events with a large, visible presence
Increase awareness, interest and fan support for AMS by implementing promotional elements and distributing flyers, schwag and other marketing collateral
Provide full operational support (set-up and teardown) at off-site events
Brainstorm and research new and engaging activities for use in interacting with the public to spread the AMS brand
Assist the marketing and promotion department as needed with day-to-day activities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A responsible, enthusiastic and outgoing team player
Knowledge of Atlanta Motor Speedway and its major events
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability and willingness to work flexible and varying days, nights and weekends
Hours Street Team members will work on a part-time and as-needed basis. Typically, the Street Team will work two to three days per week for four to six hours at a time. Some limited office hours will be required.

Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Responsible for the sales of new Full Season, Partial Season and Group Outing ticket packages, as well as PSLs, Victory Lane Club, and Speedway Club packages to both the business and consumer sectors
Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly and annual sales
Maintain business relationships with a pre-determined book of business for on-going renewal and upsell opportunities
Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture and personal database management
Generate a pre-determined minimum number of outgoing phone calls per day with the purpose of creating new business opportunities
Generate a pre-determined minimum number of weekly out of office as well as in venue “face-to-face” meetings to create new business opportunities
Provide a superior level of customer service to all ticket buyers, regardless of level of purchase
Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members
Participate and contribute to daily or weekly sales team meetings and training sessions
Active involvement in at least one specified networking group, to assist in creating new sales opportunities
Include strong organizational, time-management, excellent oral and written communication, customer service and problem solving skills. The ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines is a must. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook) as well as the ability to navigate the Ticketmaster Ticketing System (Archtics) are essential. A candidate must have the ability to navigate Texas Motor Speedway in order to visit clients during race events and escort potential customers on seat tours, showing various seating options and facilities on both event days and non-event days. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
A minimum of two years of successful sales experience regardless of previous industry
Four-year college degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field
