Marketing & Digital Media Manager - Atlanta Motor Speedway (Hampton, GA)

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, plus three or more years of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. The qualified candidate will be a creative thinker and possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, will be highly organized, and will possess a well-developed sense of initiative. Candidates should also have experience with new and emerging media platforms and be comfortable with basic HTML. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel is required. This position includes irregular hours including night and weekend work to staff track events including, but not limited to Thursday Thunder, Friday Night Drags, NASCAR Weekend, Motorama Car Show weekend and community promotional appearances. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist Marketing and Promotion Department 
    • Reports to VP of Marketing & Promotion– duties assigned as necessary.
  • Marketing
    • Spearhead department marketing and promotional initiatives with creative brainstorming and impeccable execution to bring ideas to life.
    • Maximize promotional opportunities, including but not limited to appearances and partner promotions to market track events. 
    • Create and execute AMS email marketing strategy and e-newsletters to promote speedway events.
    • Ensure marketing initiatives and projects meet and exceed department goals and standards.
  • Social Media
    • Collaborate, with Communications Manager, to create and implement social media strategy, promotions and messaging for the track.
    • Think outside the box to create and contribute engaging marketing content (written, photo & video) for track social media channels.
    • Identify new and emerging web and social media platforms and make recommendations to VP of Marketing & Promotion for implementation by the track.
  • Website
    • Coordinate and manage, with staff input, all aspects of official track website www.atlantamotorspeedway.com
    • Create compelling and motivating content (written, photo & video) for official track website www.atlantamotorspeedway.com and the AMS Mobile App to promote the track.
    • Oversee all external event specific websites and social media channels utilized by the track for marketing and promotional uses.
  • Miscellaneous
    • Thursday Thunder/Friday Night Drags/Motorama/NASCAR Weekend/Promotional Appearances/track event rental staffing as needed.

Fan Relations Ticket Agent - Fan Relations Ticket Agent- Texas Motor Speedway (Fort Worth, TX)

The Fan Relations Department offers hands on experience in ticket sales and customer relations. Applicants must be comfortable interacting with customers and visitors to Texas Motor Speedway. Applicants are expected to become part of the team fulfilling orders, providing customer service and problem solving; and must be flexible and willing to work with other departments.

This department sells tickets daily for all Texas Motor Speedway, Dirt Track events. Applicants will assist in mass mailings and help maintain a master database of fans by updating information as needed. Applicants need to be flexible and willing to work long hours and weekends as needed.

Aside from working daily with our customers on the phone, applicants will be expected to assist other ticketing departments (Sales and Retention, Ticket Sales, and Credentials) with multiple events held on and off the track. Applicants are expected to work all the race events held during the year.

Position:  Ticket Sales and Services Representative

Sonoma Raceway is looking for Ticket Sales and Services Representatives. Job responsibilities and duties to include, but not be limited to the following:

Ticket Sales

  • Sell season tickets, group tickets and individual tickets to all motorsports events at Sonoma Raceway  
  • Sell and/or upsell all add-on ticket products
  • Call current and past customers and cold call new sales leads to generate sales and establish long-term customer – employee relationships
  • Research, prospect and establish leads of area businesses and individuals through sales methods including, but not limited to: phone, in-person appointments, networking events, promotional events, email, and social networking
  • Cordially and effectively handle incoming sales calls from prospective clients for all ticket sales products
  • Achieve team oriented sales goals through developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members               
  • Proactively use sales strategies to acquire and follow up on referrals               

Ticket Services

  • Assist with ticket renewal process- mailing invoices, reseating upgrade requests and other account changes
  • Become proficient in all database management software (Archtics and Dimension)
  • Process orders and payments as received
  • Provide outstanding service to our guests and patrons
  • Contribute to the printing, production and distribution of tickets and collaterals
  • Reconcile daily personal operator receipts
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Event Duties

  • Staff event positions and assist with event specific activities as determined by event
  • Assist with VIP guest needs (Garage Tours, golf cart pick-ups/drop-offs)
  • Assist with fulfillment of Guest Recognition program activities
  • Be available to assist with other non-specific responsibilities before, during and after events

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree in Sport Management, Business Administration, or related field. Sales and customer service experience is required. Candidates must be energetic, outgoing, well organized, professional, able to handle multiple tasks, team oriented and work well in a fast paced environment.  Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) skills are a must.  

Position Classification: Hourly (Non-exempt)

Schedule: This position will work approximately 30-40+ hours per week. Candidates for this position must be available to work weekends and evenings. 

Compensation: $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience plus bonus incentive program.  Medical, dental, and other insurance benefits, plus company 401(k) plan. Position will receive 6 tickets to each event date ($3000 value).
