ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effectively execute sales campaigns

Experience Coordinator-Ticket Sales - Kentucky Speedway (Sparta, KY)

This department is seeking a candidate who is interested in event ticketing sales. This position will work with Motorsport ticket promotions, sales initiatives, and ticket fulfillment. The Ticketing department looks for someone who is energetic and able to multi-task in a fast-changing environment. Compiling and maintaining database information is also expected. 

Role and Responsibilities:    

  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales leads.

  • Promote and sell season, group and individual ticket packages.

  • Generate ticket sales revenue through heavy phone sales.

  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and feedback on customer satisfaction.

  • Recommends changes in products and services, also including upselling strategies for a better racing experience.

  • Make a minimum of 60 outreach calls per day from provided lead lists & prospecting.

  • Meet or exceed daily call expectations and yearly sales goals.

  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

  • Handle all incoming sales/service calls.

  • Effectively execute sales campaigns and training set forth.

  • Efficiently manage workday as determined by Management.

  • Maintain computerized records of clients and prospects with our Tickets.com system.

  • Assist customer service efforts during renewal campaigns.

  • Help organize and execute departmental mailing strategy.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by managers.

  • Assist with all event responsibilities regarding race day operations.

  • Ability to travel to various shows and events that promote Kentucky Speedway in a positive manner.

  • Promote fun and excitement around KYS Mission Statement.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

  • Able to work extended hours as required, especially surrounding large events.

  • Previous experience in phone sales, outside sales, customer service or retail sales is beneficial.

  • Have a professional demeanor.

  • Excellent communication skills, strong enthusiasm and the ability to engage professionally with clients/fans are required.

Texas Motor Speedway is evolving and looking for highly motivated and passionate individuals to join their sales team. TMS is looking for candidates that have a passion for the sports industry, a solid foundation of sales training, and ability to initiate phone calls, emails, face to face appointments, and create new innovative programs to increase attendance and drive revenue.

The Account Executive job is a full time position with benefits.

Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Responsible for the sales of new Full Season, Partial Season and Group Outing ticket packages, as well as PSLs, Victory Lane Club, and Speedway Club packages to both the business and consumer sectors
  • Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly and annual sales
  • Maintain business relationships with a pre-determined book of business for on-going renewal and upsell opportunities
  • Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture and personal database management
  • Generate a pre-determined minimum number of outgoing phone calls per day with the purpose of creating new business opportunities
  • Generate a pre-determined minimum number of weekly out of office as well as in venue “face-to-face” meetings to create new business opportunities
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to all ticket buyers, regardless of level of purchase
  • Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
  • Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members
  • Participate and contribute to daily or weekly sales team meetings and training sessions
  • Active involvement in at least one specified networking group, to assist in creating new sales opportunities

Competencies:

Include strong organizational, time-management, excellent oral and written communication, customer service and problem solving skills. The ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines is a must. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook) as well as the ability to navigate the Ticketmaster Ticketing System (Archtics) are essential. A candidate must have the ability to navigate Texas Motor Speedway in order to visit clients during race events and escort potential customers on seat tours, showing various seating options and facilities on both event days and non-event days. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays is required.

  • A minimum of two years of successful sales experience regardless of previous industry

Database Analyst - Texas Motor Speedway (Fort Worth, TX)

Texas Motor Speedway is seeking a positive and passionate individual that is committed to becoming a sports industry leader in Data Analytics.  In order to better organize and utilize data in conjunction with Ticketmaster software, TMS has integrated with Fan360, a CRM program designed by Sporting Innovations.  The Database Analyst will be trained on the CRM and Ticketmaster programs and subsequently be responsible for training other users, maintaining the database as needed, reporting on market niches and outbound sales/retention campaigns.  The ability to import and organize new consumer data/prospective ticket buyers is crucial in this role.

JOB DUTIES:

Database Marketing:

  • Advance the integration of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform with the Ticketmaster software.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate initiative to transition database users into season ticket holders.
  • Develop and Execute a Fan Data Capture Plan.
  • Clean, dedupe, and distribute qualified sales leads to the TMS Sales Team.
  • Work closely with the TMS Marketing Department on various target marketing campaigns.

Systems Integration:

  • Ensure proper communication between Ticketmaster & FAN360.
  • Develop reports to assist director in evaluating sales/retention performance (track and individual basis).

Analytics:

  • Create reporting and analytics metric to support decision-making, especially as it relates to ticketing and lead list analysis.
  • Track sales/retention campaigns in CRM in order to quantify the quality of prospects being sent to the Ticket Sales team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Communications or Statistics (or related field).
  • Minimum 2 years Sport Marketing/Sales or Database/CRM experience.
  • Knowledge of database and digital marketing strategies.
