Senior Sales Executive – Atlanta Motor Speedway Corporate Sales Department

Job Summary: 

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for producing corporate sponsorship sales revenues. The candidate must set appointments with regional, local and national business leaders and sell new corporate sponsorships for Atlanta Motor Speedway as well as service and maintain existing sponsorship accounts. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the development and execution of consumer and business-to-business promotions for new and existing account

 

Essential Functions:

·      Grow sponsorship revenue streams.

·      Focus on partnerships of $50k +.

·      Provide Customer Service to existing sponsorship accounts by visiting with the accounts throughout the season and off-season to ensure personalized, continual contact.

·      Renew Sponsorship Accounts that are assigned.

·      Set Appointments over the phone with corporate decision makers, with a certain number of appointments per week as a goal for success in the position.

·      Deliver the Sponsorship sales presentations on appointments with company decision-makers.

·      Assist in the creation and implementation of consumer and business-to-business-based promotions.

·      Maintain Salesforce database and add new database leads.

·      Prospect for quality leads.

·      Visit with accounts and maintain and develop relationship with sponsorship clients.

·      Assist in growing Events and Ticketing Revenues, including selling these inventories as necessary.

 

Qualifications

Required:

·      Strong ability to communicate.

·      Drive, determination, and a strong work ethic.

·      Willingness and ability to listen and learn.

·      Willingness and ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays as business needs indicate.

·      Bachelor’s Degree plus 2-3 years of prior experience in a similar role.

·      Previous advertising or sponsorship sales experience with a sports organization.

·      Knowledge of motorsports preferred but not required.

Atlanta Motor Speedway is seeking a passionate and highly motivated sales professional to join the Corporate Sales Team as a Sales Executive.

Job Summary: The ideal candidate must be a successful salesperson with proven results. The ability to build and cultivate relationships with corporate leaders in the Atlanta market through cold calling, face-to-face appointments and networking is essential. The candidate will be accountable to sell premium suites, hospitality packages, 100+ group ticket sales and up to $50k sponsorship packages for Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Essential Functions:

·         Prospect and cultivate premium season seat holder clientele through phone calls, emails, face to face appointments, in facility presentations, and inbound inquires.

·         Sell premium suites, hospitality packages, 100+ group ticket sales and sponsorship packages for Atlanta           Motor Speedway.

·         Meet and exceed monthly sales and productivity goals as outlined by the Director of Sales.

·         Provide weekly activity summaries as outlined by the Director of Sales.

·         Maintain a high level of customer service with all sales relationships in the marketplace.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in Sports Marketing.
•Minimum of two (2) years high end premium sales experience or sponsorship sales required.
•Experience selling in Atlanta area a plus.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate effectively with prospects, customers and internal team.
•Excellent time management and organizational skills a must.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.

•Knowledge of motorsports preferred but not required.

Group Sales Representative - Sonoma Raceway (Sonoma, CA)


Speedway Sonoma is looking for a Group Sales Representative to join our ticket sales team. We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to sell ticket packages to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Verizon IndyCar Series and NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.


Job Description:


• Promote and sell Sonoma Raceway ticket packages with primary focus on group sales programs
• Generate ticket sales revenues through phone, in person and outside sales activities
• Contact qualified and unqualified sales leads to generate new business
• Prospect for new business leads via phone cold calling, email, direct mail and in-person visits
• Represent raceway and promote ticket sales at various off-site events during the week and weekends
Initiate and develop contacts with business, club, non-profit and other group prospects
• Develop and implement group theme days
• Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service to clients and guests
• Assist clients and guests with ticket and event related issues on race weekends
• Participate with race day sales operations and interact with clients and fans
• Meet weekly and monthly quotas related to sales revenue and outreach contacts
Qualifications
Previous experience in phone sales and/or outside sales is required. Experience in group sales with sports teams, national events, ticket sales, or motorsports is a plus. Basic computer fundamentals needed, such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), CRM software, and basic computer knowledge. Excellent communication skills, strong enthusiasm, a professional demeanor and the ability to engage with prospective clients are required. Top candidate will demonstrate a desire to contribute and grow with the raceway and the motorsports industry.
Schedule / Compensation
This position is full-time. Some overtime and flexible scheduling will be required based on
Seasonal event schedule. Compensation based on guaranteed salary plus sales commission &
bonuses. Benefits include medical, dental and 401k. This position also receives comp tickets
to each event.
