Responsibilities include:

  • Sponsor/Client activation:
    • Assist with all aspects of Hospitality, Suites, Display, Signage, Program, etc. for all events (NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Gift of Lights, Motorama and Summer series events), including but not limited to:
      • Generation and distribution of suite/hospitality information booklets
      • Communicating with vendors on set up/tear down, client lists
      • Working with event staff in each area to communicate client expectations and activation
      • Facilitate and execute client events, such as speed drives, facility rentals, etc.
  • Research, track, analyze and collect information on local, state and regional businesses and their viability as sponsor/partners Post event wrap-ups: data collection of web, news print, photos, TV Eyes, Vocus
  • Create and implement “welcome” package to go out for all new contracts to include all information needed pertaining to contract type (i.e. program specs, display information, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain customer service surveys and evaluations for all corporate partnerships

We are looking for the right individual to join our team and sell premium inventory for Atlanta Motor Speedway.


Primarily responsible for selling new stadium premium inventory including but not limited to, annual suites, multi-year suites, large corporate block ticket sales, hospitality chalet’s and motorhome hospitality. 

Major Responsibilities:

  • This position will be focused on prospecting, appointment setting, executing sales presentations, and closing sales.
  • Set and conduct out of office sales appointments throughout the Georgia area.
  • Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including but not limited to: networking events, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners / lunches and outside meetings.

Facility Info:                       Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway is one of the preeminent motorsports and entertainment complexes in the world.  In addition to hosting some of NASCAR’s and NHRA’s most-attended events each year, 2016 will see the installation of Colossus, the world’s largest outdoor center-hung video board.  With a capacity in excess of 150,000, the facility is also expected to set a new NCAA college football attendance record on Sept. 10, 2016, when the racetrack transforms into a football stadium and plays host to border rivals, the University of Tennessee and Virginia Tech.  Bristol Dragway boasts a capacity of 20,000 located in the bucolic setting better known as Thunder Valley. In 2015, the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities, a 501©(3) nonprofit organization, awarded a record-breaking $805,900 to regional children’s charities bringing their 18-year total to nearly $10 million in grants.  In existence since 1961, Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway were purchased in 1996 by Speedway Motorsports, Inc. a publicly traded company that is a leading marketer and promoter of motorsports entertainment in the United States.

Description:                       BMS is accepting applications for the position of Manager/Sr. Manager/Director of Ticket Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of events in the ticket system (Archtics) for Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway events, including but not limited to NASCAR races, NHRA events, college football, and a variety of other motorsports and entertainment events.  This person will serve as the main point of contact with Ticketmaster regarding all systems functions. The position will also include oversight of all ticket scanning technology and staff at event time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and maintain all ticketed events in the Archtics system (approx. 180 events). This includes the creation of all seating, parking and camping manifests, ticket templates for printing, payment plans, approved price codes and managing the events on and BMS Account Manager.
  • Maintain user privileges as set forth by SMI auditors.
  • Serve as primary liaison to Ticketmaster personnel.
  • Provide detailed daily reports on ticket sales for all major events.
  • Work with Ticket Sales and Operations staffs to ensure highest level of accuracy when taking and fulfilling orders.
  •  Manage online ticket sales process and inventory ( and BMS Account Manager). 
  •  Provide the highest level of customer service to ensure BMS achieves its mission to Exceed Expectations of its guests, vendors and stakeholders.
  •  Assist with other ticket office or company duties as assigned.  

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study
  • 4+ years’ experience overseeing the management of a ticket software system
  • Ability to work flexible hours (nights/weekends/events) when necessary
  • Team player with a do-whatever-it-takes attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or Master’s Degree in Sports Administration or Business Administration
  • 6+ years of successful ticket systems management experience in NASCAR, professional sports, performing arts or college athletics
